Here are just a few reasons you should be a member of the Mile High Chapter of ALA.  Our Membership Committee, in conjunction with the Education Committee, is bringing you a luncheon filled with the ideas about, reasons for and benefits of membership.  Come take a look.  Or if you are already a member, get a refresher course on what is available to you.

This luncheon is for all administrators/members of all experience levels.  It is not approved for credit for CLM recertification.

Where are you on this spectrum? And how can ALA help you get to where you want to be?

  • New to the profession / New to ALA
  • Educating yourself / Taking on more responsibility
  • Handling it all and making it all work
  • Being a leader in your Firm and in the industry

Sue Bertram from the Colorado Bar Association and our very own Jerry McPeake, International Regional Representative, will both be speaking as well.

Our speakers will join us at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Denver, 934 16th Street Mall, Denver, CO 80202.  The Chapter will provide complimentary valet parking for those members outside of downtown Denver.  Please indicate in your registration if you will be using that service.

Registration is free to all ALA members and Potential Members!  But we still need you to register!!

Paul Hartmann will have his portable studio set up and available to take professional portraits of our members as an added perk.

Pursuant to our Bylaws, the Mile High Chapter holds an annual meeting every year during the last quarter of the Chapter year.  This meeting will immediately follow the Educational Luncheon.  The agenda will include all committee's to report on activities, goals and accomplishments for the year.  In addition, we'll be following up on the results of the member survey recently sent out regarding the Bylaws amendments required by ALA headquarters. Discussion will be opened to members in attendance and we'll do our best to answer any questions and to hear comments from members who would like to speak regarding these and/or other ALA and Chapter topics.

Our monthly educational sessions would not be possible without the generous support of our Business Partners.
