Please join the Mile High Chapter Education Committee at our monthly luncheon on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Wells Fargo Building for Rebecca Kelley, CPA and Partner at Plante Moran who will present on "The Business of Budgeting."  The Business of Budgeting will highlight the purpose and benefits of preparing a budget, considerations to preparing a useful budget, and the importance of regular monitoring.

Rebecca is a Partner on the Plante Moran Risk Accounting and Advisory Team. As the leader of the recurring accounting solutions team, she provides outsourced accounting and finance solutions to clients, giving them the key information they need to make timely business decisions. She has expertise in a variety of accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivables, month-end processes, procedures, and review, compilations, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

Rebecca has presented at the ALA National Conference and on ALA webinars, covering financial checklists every company should be doing, such as a month-end close checklist and a compliance checklist, as well as presented to the Colorado Society of CPAs on small business outsourcing, and on Not-for-Profits outgrowing QuickBooks.

Rebecca is a member of the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and Financial Executives International. In 2017, the COCPA recognized Rebecca as “Woman to Watch.” She a board member and treasurer of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and a member of the University of Denver’s School of Accountancy Alumni Engagement Council. Rebecca received her B.S. in accounting from the University of Denver and is a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor.

This session has been approved for the following continuing education re-certification credits:
