FRIENDSGIVING VIRTUAL EVENT

November 12, 2020 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

In the spirit of “giving thanks” for this event we are partnering with our chapter’s Community Relations Committee.  For this board year the Committee has selected to support Foster Source (https://fostersource.org/).  Foster Source is a non-profit organization that provides training, resources, and support to foster parents; giving them the skills and confidence to spark healing in vulnerable children.  Foster Source was founded by our very own Mile High ALA member, Brian Bernhard and his lovely wife, Renee.

During our Friendsgiving event we will be playing G-R-A-C-E (aka, Bingo).  To support the committee’s selected charity, we are asking for a donation of $12 (although we will gladly accept more); in Colorado 12 children enter foster care every day.  All the proceeds will go to benefit Foster Source. 

If you plan to attend and play GRACE, please register with a ticket and consider a suggested minimum donation of $12.  If you are unable to attend please consider a donation to support Foster Source.
