Please join the Mile High Chapter Education Committee at our monthly luncheon on June 17, 2021. Robyn Hacker, PhD, LP, LAC from the Colorado Lawyer Assistance Program (COLAP) will present on "The Neuroscience of Burnout."  The luncheon will be held via Zoom and starting at 11:30 a.m. and will be 90 minutes.

2020 took a toll on each of us. Our “normal” lives continued as the year bombarded us with the unexpected. Our bodies are feeling the consequences – physically, emotionally, spiritually – and nationally we’ve seen an increase in mental health issues and substance abuse. You may be recognizing that you, your colleagues, and loved ones are struggling with burnout. Learn how to identify when it is time for you to seek more support or to support someone you care about in getting help. This presentation will review the neuroscience of burnout and provide proven strategies for improving mental health.

Session Objectives:

  • Increased awareness about when it is time to seek external support.
  • A general understanding of the neuroscience of burnout.
  • Proven strategies for improving their mental health.
