Please join the Mile High Chapter Education Committee at our monthly educational event on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Registration begins at 7:30 am, Announcements will be made at 7:50 am, and Presentation starts at 8:00 am. Charles F. Luce, Jr. of Moy White LLP will present "Does Blue Horseshoe Still Love Annecot Steel?" - a true cautionary tale of what can happen when the pressure of law firm expectations and an all-consuming case blind an otherwise honest attorney to the point where ethics are thrown to the wind.

Charles F. Luce, Jr. is a partner with the Denver law firm Moye White LLP, Chair of its intellectual Property Group, and Co-Chair of its Law Practice Professionals Group. A graduate of the universities of Colorado (B.A.) and Oregon (J.D.), Mr. Luce is a frequent author and speaker on legal ethics and the practice of law. He has served as a Lecturer in Law Professional Responsibility at the University of Denver, and since 1986 as a member of the Colorado Bar Association's Ethics Committee. He is the publisher of Charles Luce on Legal Ethics and the Practice of Law, the first internet website devoted to Colorado legal ethics issues, and a blog of the same name, ColoradoLegalEthics.com.
This programs has been approved for the following re-certification credits:
