Please join the Mile High Chapter Education Committee at our annual Law Firm Management Luncheon as we welcome Barbara Randell, Founder and CEO of Future Image Group. Randell will present "Culture, Leadership and Intentionality and what the heck do these words mean in practice???"
AS A WAY TO SHOW OUR APPRECIATION FOR OUR ATTORNEYS, each Mile High ALA Regular Member may register 2 attorneys from their office to attend the luncheon AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. CLE credit is available to attorneys for attending this event as an added bonus. How would a free lunch and CLE credit sound to your attorneys?
During this presentation we'll be diving into exactly these questions: defining these much bandied about words which are used casually, interchangeably and not given a whole lot of thought as to how they apply to our professional environment, our teams, colleagues and, especially, ourselves.
What exactly IS Culture? Leadership? Are we comfortable in our professional space? Do people understand what we're doing here and why? Does leadership set Intentions (consciously!) for themselves, for their firms, their teams, themselves? Is there purpose in our work besides earning a paycheck? If so, is it articulated and understood at all levels in our place of employment? Is there room for growth? Is there room for some course correction? If so, how??
Our hope is you'll leave this presentation with a little more clarity, understanding that these concepts and practices will affect the alignment, long- and short-term success of your firm or organization, planning for the future, seamless transitions and, importantly, continuity for succession planning.
Session Objectives:
- Cultural Alignment: Gain an understanding of how an organization's culture is defined by the behaviors leadership allows (passive) and encourages (active)
- Difference in leadership: Learn about Active versus Passive Leadership and how to be more effective in leadership styles
- Encouraging Behaviors of Change: Find out how you can lead your organization to the culture you wish to create and maintain
- Visional Alignment with Leadership: Create a mindset that "sees" leadership as a choice to assume the responsibility for something greater than oneself.
