Join the Mile High Chapter Education Committee for a breakfast education session on Workplace Trends with James McDonough, PHR, of Employers Council, on May 21 from 9:00–10:00 a.m.

To survive in a competitive marketplace, employers must have leaders who stay attuned to workplace trends and develop effective strategies to achieve organizational objectives. An array of data sources indicates that 2026 is challenging organizations with highly visible novel events, even as longer-term trends are quietly and relentlessly shifting the foundations of the workplace. In this session, key workplace trends will be discussed with suggested action steps for HR professionals and other leaders to consider.

3 objectives:

• Provide an overview of trends (socio-economic, technological, demographic) that are impacting the workplace
• Identify how HR functions impact an organization’s ability to manage these trends
• Introduce key compliance concerns that employers must consider when drafting strategies to address these trends

About the Speaker:

James McDonough, PHR

Human Resource Research Consultant

Prior to joining Employers Council in 2012, James’ career included working in the public sector with workforce development and higher education, and in the private sector in HR and business management.

As an HR Research Consultant with Employers Council, James develops content to inform and educate employers, including articles for a variety of publications. He leverages his experience and research to consult with employers on their organizational practices. James enjoys presenting and training on topics such as HR operations and organizational effectiveness.
